Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes porcine IgG F(ab')2. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum, porcine IgG F(ab')2 and porcine serum. No reaction was seen against porcine IgG F(c).
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.

Application Notes for anti-IgG, F(ab')2 antibody
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:5000-1:50,000; 1ug of porcine IgG F(ab')2 was used in a standard capture ELISA with ABTS (A0030) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT.
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:2500

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-IgG, F(ab')2 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
