Specificity
Recognizes NMDAR2B phosphoTry1472. The antibody recognizes a protein of ~180 kD in Western blot. The labeling of the NMDAR2B protein in Western blots of rat brain is blocked by the phosphopeptide but not by the dephosphopeptide. Two additional lower molecular weight bands are present in Western blots of rat brain.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
