Recognizes human IgE. Does not crossreact with alpha (IgA), gamma (IgG), mu (IgM), or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

IgE isolated from a pool of normal human serum. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic. MW of antigen is 50kD.

Application Notes for anti-IgE, Heavy Chain antibody
Suitable for use in Immunohistology. Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
Dilution: Immunohistology: (Formalin/paraffin): 1:250-1:500 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-IgE, Heavy Chain antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
