Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degree C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Application Notes for anti-HIV-1 p24, Strain IIIB antibody
A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. Direct Immunofluorescent staining of cells may be performed in 1:50 dilution range. Dot Blot assays with purified p24 may be performed at a minimum dilution of 1:100.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-HIV-1 p24, Strain IIIB antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
