Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes murine lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3). Recognizes an epitope within the D2 domain of CD223. Reported to block the in vitro function of murine LAG-3, but studies suggest that the antibody does not block binding of LAG-3 to MHC class II.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Murine CD223 Ig fusion protein
Hybridoma
Cells from immunized Lewis rats were fused with cells of the Sp/20 myeloma cell line.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-LAG-3 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes for anti-LAG-3 antibody
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Functional Assays.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.
