Preparation and Storage

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation.
Dilution: Western Blot: 0.05-0.1ug/ml detected the a-1 subunit in 20ug of rat brain microsomal preparations using chemiluminescence. To reduce background, wash the blot with 0.05% Tween-20 in PBS for 15 minutes.
Immunohistochemistry: 1-10ug/ml on ice-cold methanol-fixed tissue.
Immunoprecipitation: 2ug immunoprecipitated the a-1 subunit from rat brain microsomal preparations.

Western Blot of rat brain microsomal preparation was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with MBS631690 at 0.05ug/ml. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemi-luminescence detection system. |Arrow indicates α-1 subunit (~100kD).
