Specificity
Recognizes LPS of virulent and vaccine strains of Francisella tularensis. The binding site is located on the O-antigen polysaccharide chain which consists of tetrasaccharide fragments. Does not crossreact with Fr. novicida, Br. abortus, Br. suis, Br. melitensis, Br. ovis, Y. pestis, Y. entercolitica, Y. pseudotuberculosis, E. coli or V. cholerae.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
