Product Overview

Product Name
Limulus Anti-LPS Factor Peptide, Protein
Full Product Name
Limulus Anti-LPS Factor Peptide (LALF)
Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS. Reconstitute with sterile, endotoxin free PBS
Purity/Purification
Purified
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C and is stable for 12 months at 4°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Stock solution should be stored in aliquots at -70°C in polypropylene ntubes. LALF-peptide stock solution should never be thawed more than oce. Repeated freeze and thaw cycles will cause loss of LALF-peptide activity.
3D Structure
ModBase 3D Structure for P07086
Inactivation
For neutralization of biological activity dilutions have to be made according to the amounts protein to be inactivated. Further dilutions should be made by using protein stabilized phosphate buffered saline, pH7. (Never use fresh serum/plasma). Be aware: endotoxin will bind LALF-peptide.
Applications Tested/Suitable for Limulus Anti-LPS Factor Peptide protein
ELISA (EL/EIA)
Suitable for use in biological assays in vivo and in vitro. Dilutions have to be made according to the amount of protein to be inactivated. Further dilutions should be made by using protein stabilized PBS, pH 7 (never use fresh serum/plasma). Be aware: Endotoxin will bind LALF-peptide.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Other Notes

Small volumes of Limulus Anti-LPS Factor Peptide protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
