Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Biological Activity
The biological activity of human TECK was determined by a chemotaxis assay using human monocytes. Significant chemotaxis was achieved at a concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level
0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug)
Reconstitution
Lyophilized human TECK is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers and can be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored frozen for future use.

Other Notes

Small volumes of Ccl25 active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for Ccl25

CCL25: Potentially involved in T-cell development. Recombinant protein shows chemotactic activity on thymocytes, macrophages, THP-1 cells, and dendritics cells but is inactive on peripheral blood lymphocytes and neutrophils. Binds to CCR9. Isoform 2 is an antagonist of isoform 1. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
