Interferon Alpha 4 (IFNA4) Active Protein

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS636497

Most mammalian species have multiple IFN-a subtypes. Although the reasons for these multiple subtypes are not fully known, there are clear cell type and temporal differences in their expression. A recent study established a nomenclature for the murine IFN-a… More details

Testing Data of IFNA4 active protein

The activity of Mu Alpha-A [E.coli] and Mu Alpha-4 [mammalian] was compared in an L929/EMCV CPE assay. The EC50 for Mu Alpha-A [E.coli] in this experiment was 23.5pg/ml while the EC50 for Mu Alpha-4 [mammalian] was 3.59pg/ml.
IFNA4 Active Protein – Cat# MBS636497

Other Notes

Small volumes of IFNA4 active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
