Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note
BSA-HNE conjugate should only be used as a positive control to optimize the bloting conditions. It is not a representative of the protein bands that might be labeled with the anti-HNE in a given samples. Typically, complex proteins samples, such as liver or brain, will show many bands that are modified with HNE. There is no specific pattern that must be obtained with the antibodies.

Application Notes for HNE biochemical
HNE-BSA conjugate can be used to coat ELISA plates (coat 1-10ug/ml) to test antibodies or used a known positive control for ELISA or Western (load 1-5ul/lane). BSA-HNE conjugate is ~65-70kD. Other aggregated bands may be visible as well.

Other Notes

Small volumes of HNE biochemical vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
