58,114 Da
Performance
Five x 105 ficoll prepared human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD39/FITC at a 1:50 dilution (10ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. A net 21% sub population of the cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.3 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/FITC negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml anti-CD39 antibody.
Conjugation
FITC
Production
Protein A purified antibody from tissue culture supernatant was reacted with FITC. Unconjugated FITC was separated from antibody/FITC conjugate by desalting column. The antibody/FITC conjugate is at 0.5 mg/ml with a Fluorescein: mAb molar ratio of 7.9.

Human WM-1 (Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia) cell line
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-CD39 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes for anti-CD39 antibody
1:50 (or use 1.6 ul of concentrated stock per 5 x 105-cell test)

UniProt Comments for CD39

In the nervous system, could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well.
