Human CD45
CD45, also known as the leukocyte common antigen (LCA), exists as four different isoforms (180, 190, 205, 220 kDa) that are generated by alternative splicing of three exons. LCA is found on all cells of hematopoietic origin, except erythrocytes and platelets. CD45 expression is required for T cell and B cell antigen receptor-mediated activation.1-4
Preparation and Storage
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.1 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2- 8 degree C.
Characterization
To insure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of product is tested by flow cytometry to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent.
