Application Notes for anti-GM-CSF antibody
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Rat GM-CSF (0.5ng/ml), a concentration of 0.09-0.14 mug/ml of this antibody is required.

Sandwich ELISA: To detect Rat GM-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Rat GM-CSF as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Rat GM-CSF.

Western Blot: To detect Rat GM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 mug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant Rat GM-CSF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-GM-CSF antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
