Application Notes for anti-4-1BB antibody
Sandwich ELISA: To detect h4-1BB Receptor by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human 4-1BB Receptor as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant h4-1BB Receptor.

Western Blot: To detect h4-1BB Receptor by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant h4-1BB Receptor is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-4-1BB antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for 4-1BB

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor contributes to the clonal expansion, survival, and development of T cells. It can also induce proliferation in peripheral monocytes, enhance T cell apoptosis induced by TCR/CD3 triggered activation, and regulate CD28 co-stimulation to promote Th1 cell responses. The expression of this receptor is induced by lymphocyte activation. TRAF adaptor proteins have been shown to bind to this receptor and transduce the signals leading to activation of NF-kappaB.
