Application Notes for anti-I-309 antibody
Immunohistochemistery: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human normal pancreas. The recommended concentration is 0.25 ug/mL- 0.50 ug/mL with an overnight incubation at 4 degree C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended.

Sandwich ELISA: To detect hI-309 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human I-309 as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hI-309.

Western Blot: To detect human I-309 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant human I-309 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-I-309 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for I-309

This antimicrobial gene is one of several chemokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines form a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CC subfamily, is secreted by activated T cells and displays chemotactic activity for monocytes but not for neutrophils. It binds to the chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 8. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]
