Western Blot (WB) of anti-NCF1 antibody

Western blot analysis of p47 phox expression in MCF7 (A), HeLa (B) whole cell lysates.
Rabbit Anti-NCF1 Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS821691

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-NCF1 antibody

Immunohistochemical analysis of p47 phox staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-NCF1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for NCF1

The protein encoded by this gene is a 47 kDa cytosolic subunit of neutrophil NADPH oxidase. This oxidase is a multicomponent enzyme that is activated to produce superoxide anion. Mutations in this gene have been associated with chronic granulomatous disease. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for NCF1

p47phox: the 47-kilodalton cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein complex known as NADPH oxidase found in neutrophils. The holo-oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Contains 2 SH2 domains. Mutations in NCF1, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease.
