Other Notes

Small volumes of CXCL1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS824609 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the CXCL1, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CXCL1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS824609 kit is based on CXCL1 antibody-CXCL1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CXCL1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CXCL1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for CXCL1

This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. Chemokines, which recruit and activate leukocytes, are classified by function (inflammatory or homeostatic) or by structure. This secretory protein is proposed to bind the G-protein coupled receptor chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 2 to recruit neutrophils. In mouse, deficiency of this gene is associated with colitis and with defects in immune cell recruitment to the lung. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2013]

UniProt Comments for CXCL1

CXCL2: Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.
