Other Notes

Small volumes of CXCL2 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS825015 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the CXCL2, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CXCL2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS825015 kit is based on CXCL2 antibody-CXCL2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CXCL2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CXCL2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for CXCL2

chemokine involved in the pulmonary inflammatory response [RGD, Feb 2006]

UniProt Comments for CXCL2

CXCL3: Ligand for CXCR2. Has chemotactic activity for neutrophils. May play a role in inflammation and exert its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. In vitro, the processed form GRO-gamma(5-73) shows a fivefold higher chemotactic activity for neutrophilic granulocytes. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Secreted

Cellular Component: extracellular space

Molecular Function: chemokine activity; CXCR chemokine receptor binding

Biological Process: neutrophil chemotaxis; wound healing; leukocyte chemotaxis; response to amphetamine; response to glucocorticoid stimulus; positive regulation of leukocyte chemotaxis; response to estradiol stimulus; regulation of cell proliferation; G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; response to heat; response to molecule of bacterial origin; response to gamma radiation; immune response; inflammatory response
