Other Notes

Small volumes of CCL12 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS825064 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the CCL12, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CCL12. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS825064 kit is based on CCL12 antibody-CCL12 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CCL12 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CCL12. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

UniProt Comments for CCL12

CCL2: Chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes and basophils but not neutrophils or eosinophils. Augments monocyte anti-tumor activity. Has been implicated in the pathogenesis of diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, like psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis or atherosclerosis. May be involved in the recruitment of monocytes into the arterial wall during the disease process of atherosclerosis. Monomer or homodimer; in equilibrium. Binds to CCR2 and CCR4. Is tethered on endothelial cells by glycosaminoglycan (GAG) side chains of proteoglycans. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Chemokine

Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region; intracellular

Molecular Function: CCR2 chemokine receptor binding; chemokine activity; cytokine activity

Biological Process: cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; positive regulation of leukocyte migration; MAPKKK cascade; cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; chemotaxis; macrophage chemotaxis; monocyte chemotaxis; regulation of cell shape; protein kinase B signaling cascade; lipopolysaccharide-mediated signaling pathway; immune response; negative regulation of neuron apoptosis; angiogenesis; inflammatory response; astrocyte cell migration
