Other Notes

Small volumes of CXCL3 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS901745 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 3 (CXCL3) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CXCL3. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS901745 kit is based on CXCL3 antibody-CXCL3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CXCL3 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CXCL3. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for CXCL3

acts as a chemoattractant for neutrophils; involved in the inflammatory response [RGD, Feb 2006]

UniProt Comments for CXCL3

CXCL1: Has chemotactic activity for neutrophils. May play a role in inflammation and exerts its effects on endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. In vitro, the processed forms GRO- alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73) and GRO-alpha(6-73) show a 30-fold higher chemotactic activity. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Protein type: Secreted; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Secreted, signal peptide

Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region

Molecular Function: chemokine activity; CXCR chemokine receptor binding

Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; neutrophil chemotaxis; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; response to lipopolysaccharide; immune response; hemopoiesis; positive regulation of leukocyte chemotaxis; chemotaxis; inflammatory response; regulation of cell proliferation
