Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CTACK in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity
The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.

Other Notes

Small volumes of mCTACK active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for mCTACK

CCL27: Chemotactic factor that attracts skin-associated memory T-lymphocytes. May play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. May play a role in cell migration during embryogenesis. Nuclear forms may facilitate cellular migration by inducing cytoskeletal relaxation. Binds to CCR10. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.
