V-Type Proton Atpase Subunit H (ATP6V1H) ELISA Kit for Mouse

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS282191

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate ATP6V1H in samples. An antibody specific for ATP6V1H has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyATP6V1H present is bound by… More details

Other Notes

Small volumes of ATP6V1H elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS282191 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the V-type proton ATPase subunit H (ATP6V1H) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ATP6V1H. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS282191 kit is based on ATP6V1H antibody-ATP6V1H antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ATP6V1H antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ATP6V1H. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

UniProt Comments for ATP6V1H

ATP6V1H: Subunit of the peripheral V1 complex of vacuolar ATPase. Subunit H activates the ATPase activity of the enzyme and couples ATPase activity to proton flow. Vacuolar ATPase is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells, thus providing most of the energy required for transport processes in the vacuolar system. Involved in the endocytosis mediated by clathrin-coated pits, required for the formation of endosomes. Belongs to the V-ATPase H subunit family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: EC 3.6.3.14; Energy Metabolism - oxidative phosphorylation; Hydrolase

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1|1 A1

Cellular Component: extracellular exosome; lysosomal membrane; vacuolar proton-transporting V-type ATPase, V1 domain

Molecular Function: hydrogen ion transporting ATPase activity, rotational mechanism

Biological Process: ATP hydrolysis coupled proton transport; endocytosis; ion transport; proton transport; transport; vacuolar acidification
