CRB3 Rat Monoclonal Antibody (14F9)
Product Gene Name
Product Synonym Names
Crumbs homologue 3
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
lgG2c
Clone Number
14F9
Host
Rat
Species Reactivity
Human, Mouse
Form/Format
Lyophilized protein G purified in PBS pH7.4
Specificity
The antibody recognizes the full length CRB3 protein but not the extra cellular domain of CRB3. Recognize the overexpressed human form and the endogenous form in mouse.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized antibodies can be kept at 4°C for up to 3 months and should be kept at 4°C for up to 3 months and should be kept at -20°C for long-term storage (2 years). To avoid freeze·thaw cycles, reconstituted antibodies should be aliquoted before freezing for long·term (1 year) storage (-80°C) or kept at 4°C for short-term usage (2 months). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made with the assay buffer. After the maximum long-term storage period (2 years lyophilized or 1 year reconstituted) antibodies should be tested in your assay with a standard sample to verify if you have noticed any decrease in their efficacy.

Western Blot (WB) of anti-CRB3 antibody

LEFT: Western blot analysis shows that antibody recognize the lull length CRB3 (GST-CRB3) but not the extracellular domain of CRBJ (GST-eRB3extra) (anti-CRB3 (14F9) was used at 1:1000) RIGHT: Western blot analysis shows that antibody recognize overexpressed (HEK293T cells) and endogenous CRB3 (mouse tissues). (antiCRB3 (14F9) was used at 1:1000).

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-CRB3 antibody

TOP: Immunofluorescence analysis of over expressed human CRB3 In Iysates of HeLa cells. Bottom: Immunofluorescence analysis of endogenous CRB3 expression in the mouse Intestine. OAPI was used to stain the nuclei In HeLa cells. where as E-cadherin staining was used to highlight the lateral membrane in mouse intestine.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-CRB3 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CRB3

This gene encodes a member of the Crumbs family of proteins. This gene is widely expressed in epithelial tissues where the encoded protein isoforms play various roles such as the control of cytokinesis and ciliogenesis or the formation of tight junctions. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2016]
