Due its small size the protein's biochemical properties seem not to be affected by the tag protein. The Myc tag is a polypeptide protein corresponding to amino acids 410-419 of human c-Myc (EQKLISEEDL). The anti-Myc tag antibody can be used in a large variety of assays that require recognition by an antibody.

Small volumes of anti-Myc Tag antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
