Specificity
Recognizes the alpha heavy chain of human immunoglobulins (50kD). Does not crossreact with gamma (IgG), mu (IgM), epsilon (IgE) or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes or erythrocytes.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Puri?ed human alpha heavy chain. Epitope: Third constant domain (CH3) of the alpha chain of IgA. Cellular Locatization: Cytoplasmic.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Paraf n): 2-4ug/ml. Note: Staining of formalin/paraf n tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min., followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
