Application Notes for anti-ADORA2A antibody
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. Detects Adenosine Receptor A2A in HEK293 cells expressing canine A1/A2A receptor chimeras.
Immunohistochemistry: 1ug/ml. Detects Adenosine Receptor A2A in paraformaldehyde-fixed mouse brain striatal sections. Not detected in Adenosine Receptor A2A knockout mice.
Flow Cytometry: Detects Adenosine Receptor A2A in transfected HEK293 cells.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-ADORA2A antibody

Immunohistochemistry analysis in brain tissue from wild type (left) or adenosine receptor A2a knockout mice (right) was fixed in paraformaldehyde, processed, embedded and sectioned. Striatal sections were deparaffinized, blocked, incubated with MBS609984 (0.2ug/ml), and stained using the ABC protocol.

NCBI Summary for ADORA2A

This gene encodes a protein which is one of several receptor subtypes for adenosine. The activity of the encoded protein, a G-protein coupled receptor family member, is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. The encoded protein is abundant in basal ganglia, vasculature and platelets and it is a major target of caffeine. [provided by RefSeq]
