Recognizes rat NBC1. Antibodies will recognize both the kidney and pancreatic/heart isoforms of NBC1. Species Sequence Homology: Mouse - 100%; Human - 85%; Frog, rabbit - 80%.

Preparation and Storage

May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen

20aa peptide from rat NBC1, conjugated to KLH. Epitope Location: ~C-terminus, Cytoplasmic domain. No significant sequence homology was found with NBC2 or NBC3.
