D1 dopamine receptor-interacting protein calcyon D1IP) is a type II single transmembrane protein. D1IP belongs to neron-specific gene (NSG) family of proteins. It is required for maximal stimulated calcium release after stimulation of purinergic or muscarinic but not betaadrenergic receptors. The encoded protein interacts with D1 dopamine receptor (drd1) and may interact with other dopamine receptor subtypes and/or GPCRs. Dopamine is an endogenous catecholamine that influences many cellular activities, including behavior, hormone synthesis and release, blood pressure and intracellular ion transport.

Small volumes of anti-D1IP antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
