Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Endotoxin
<0.1 EU per 1 ug of the protein by the LAL method.
Activity
Measured by its ability to chemoattract human PBMCs using a concentration range of 10.0 - 100.0 ng/mL. Note: Results may vary from different PBMC donors.
Usage Notes
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Human CXCL10 Protein, His tag (Animal-Free) using the buffer we provided not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of CXCL10 active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CXCL10

This gene encodes a chemokine of the CXC subfamily and ligand for the receptor CXCR3. Binding of this protein to CXCR3 results in pleiotropic effects, including stimulation of monocytes, natural killer and T-cell migration, and modulation of adhesion molecule expression.
