In_vitro
ATV041 (200 mg/kg; oral; single dose) distributes extensively and rapidly throughout the plasma, liver, lungs, and kidney tissues [1]. When administered orally in single doses of 10, 50, and 200 mg/kg, ATV041 inhibits viral replication in the liver and lungs in a dose-dependent manner. Additionally, ATV041 decreases the expression of inflammatory cytokines TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, IL-6, IFN-gamma, and CXCL10, leading to amelioration of tissue damage [1].
