RAB35 Antibody (C-Term) Blocking Peptide

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS9223196

The small GTPases Rab are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. Rabs cycle between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form that is able to recruit to… More details

Identified in stage I to stage IV melanosomes

Other Notes

Small volumes of RAB35 blocking peptide vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for RAB35

RAB35: In the process of endocytosis, essential rate-limiting regulator of a fast recycling pathway back to the plasma membrane. During cytokinesis, required for the postfurrowing terminal steps, namely for intercellular bridge stability and abscission, possibly by controlling phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bis phosphate (PIP2) and SEPT2 localization at the intercellular bridge. Interacts with DENND1A and DENND1B in a nucleotide- dependent manner. The low binding to DENND1C is nucleotide- independent. All 3 DENND1 act as GEFs for RAB35 and thus activate the protein. Belongs to the small GTPase superfamily. Rab family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
