Supplied lyophilized from 20 mM potassium phosphate, 150mM Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 with 0.01% Sodium Azide. Reconsitute with 1.0ml of deionized water.
Purity/Purification
Chicken IgG was purified by delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by dialysis.

Preparation and Storage
Ships ambient or refrigerated. Upon receipt store at 4 degree C prior to reconstitution. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C after reconstituted.

Prepared from normal serum by a multi-step process.
Contaminants
A single precipitin arc was observed against anti-ChickenIgG, and anti-Chiscken Serum, when assayed by Immunoelectrophoresis.
Biohazard Information
This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.

SDS-PAGE of IgY immunoglobulin

Lane 1: Non-Reduced Chicken IgG Whole Molecule. Lane 2: 5 uL MW Marker. Lane 3: Reduced Chicken IgG Whole Molecule. Load: 1 ug per lane. Predicted/Observed size: Non-Reduced at 160kDa/Observed at 245 kDa; Reduced at 72, 25 kDa. Non-reduced IgG migrates slightly higher.

Small volumes of IgY immunoglobulin vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
