Supplied as a liquid in 0.1M Tris HCl, 0.5M sodium chloride, pH 8.0, 0.1% sodium azide. No stabilizing proteins added.
Purity/Purification
Highly Purified
Purified by a multi step process which included delipidation, selective precipitation and tandem molecular sieve chromatography followed by extensive dialysis.
Specificity
IEP assay shows a single precipitin arc against anti-canine serum and anti-canine IgM (mu chain specific). No reaction against anti-canine IgGFc. Some light chain cross reactivity will occur with anti-canine IgG.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
