Virus DNA Extraction and Purification Kit

This kit allows for extraction and purification of viral DNA from serum, plasma, urine, lymph, cell culture supernatants or from a variety of viral-containing fluids. Using proprietary Viral Lysis solution, viral DNA can be efficiently extracted and then purified using magnetic beads, yielding high pure viral DNA with a ratio of OD260/280 between 1.75 and 1.85. The recovered DNA size can be up to 60kb. The kit will work with a 48 well round bottom plates if a special magnetic frame is used. The kit can also be used with a variety of automatic nucleic acid extraction instruments or workstations.

Small volumes of Virus DNA extraction and purification kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
