Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-IRF3 antibody
ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-IRF3 antibody
WB: 1:1,000-1:2,000

Western Blot (WB) of anti-IRF3 antibody

Cell lysates of HeLa(40 ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose membrane and probed with anti-human IRF-3 (1:1,000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-IRF3 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for IRF3

This gene encodes a member of the interferon regulatory transcription factor (IRF) family. The encoded protein is found in an inactive cytoplasmic form that upon serine/threonine phosphorylation forms a complex with CREBBP. This complex translocates to the nucleus and activates the transcription of interferons alpha and beta, as well as other interferon-induced genes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2011]
