CD16/32 Antibody – Rat Monoclonal

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS2558026

CD16 is low affinity IgG Fc receptor III (FcR III) and CD32 is FcR II. CD16/CD32 are expressed on B cells, monocytes/macrophages, NK cells, granulocytes, mast cells, and dendritic cells. The Fc receptors bind antibody-antigen immune complexes and mediate… More details

Application Notes for anti-CD16/32 antibody
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is <= 4 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or 100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

UniProt Comments for CD16/32

FCGR2B: a transmembrane receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulin gamma (IgG). Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in down modulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B cells, T cells or via another Fc receptor. Three splice-variant isoforms have been observed.
