Other Notes

Small volumes of S1PR2 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS2515658 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the S1PR2, ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing S1PR2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2515658 kit is based on S1PR2 antibody-S1PR2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect S1PR2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, S1PR2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for S1PR2

This gene encodes a member of the G protein-coupled receptors, as well as the EDG family of proteins. This protein participates in sphingosine 1-phosphate-induced cell proliferation, survival, and transcriptional activation [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for S1PR2

EDG5: Receptor for the lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1- phosphate (S1P). S1P is a bioactive lysophospholipid that elicits diverse physiological effect on most types of cells and tissues. When expressed in rat HTC4 hepatoma cells, is capable of mediating S1P-induced cell proliferation and suppression of apoptosis. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
