Procedure
Chickens were immunized with YPYDVPDYA (influenza hemagglutinin-HA-epitope) conjugated to KLH. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected. Antibodies were immunoaffinity purified using the peptide conjugated to a solid-phase support then conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
