Cyclin E (CCNE1) Antibody – Rabbit Polyclonal

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS440015

During each cell cycle cyclins undergo periodic accumulation and destruction. As key regulators of the cell cycle the cyclins control important transitions by activating Cdks (1,2). Early in the G1 phase of the cell cycle cyclin D1 induction is followed by… More details

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-Ccne1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for Ccne1

a cyclin-like protein; may be involved in growth stimulation [RGD, Feb 2006]

UniProt Comments for Ccne1

CCNE1: a member of the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Forms a complex with and functions as a regulatory subunit of CDK2, whose activity is required for cell cycle G1/S transition. Accumulates at the G1-S phase boundary and is degraded as cells progress through S phase. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.
