Application Notes for anti-PPP2CB antibody
IHC-P: 1:100
WB: 1:500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-PPP2CB antibody

Immunohistochemistry: Representative image from a previous lot. PP2 staining on human testis, tissue pretreated with citrate buffer, pH 6.0. A previous lot of this antibody was diluted to 1:100, using IHC-Select detection with HRP-DAB.
Rabbit Anti-PPP2CB Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS6495367

Western Blot (WB) of anti-PPP2CB antibody

Western Blot Analysis: NIH/3T3 lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-PP2A/B BETA (1:500 dilution of this lot). Proteins were visualized using a donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates protein PP2A/B BETA (~55kD).

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-PPP2CB antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for PPP2CB

This gene encodes the phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. This gene encodes a beta isoform of the catalytic subunit. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]
