Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

A synthetic peptide made to an internal region within residues 200-300 of the human protein. [Swiss-Prot# Q8WTS1]. Homology: 100% with human, mouse, rat, monkey, and pig.
Cellular Localization
Cytoplasm. Colocalizatd with PLIN and ADRP on the surface of lipid droplets. The localization is dependent upon the metabolic status of the adipocytes and the activity of PKA.
