Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-DUSP23 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for DUSP23

DUSP23: Protein phosphatase that mediates dephosphorylation of proteins phosphorylated on Tyr and Ser/Thr residues. In vitro, it can dephosphorylate p44-ERK1 (MAPK3) but not p54 SAPK-beta (MAPK10) in vitro. Able to enhance activation of JNK and p38 (MAPK14). Belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. Non-receptor class dual specificity subfamily.

Protein type: Protein phosphatase, dual-specificity; EC 3.1.3.16; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; EC 3.1.3.48

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q23.2

Cellular Component: cytosol; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein tyrosine/serine/threonine phosphatase activity; protein tyrosine phosphatase activity
