Western Blot: (1/500 - 1/1000); Immunohistochemistry: (1/100 - 1/200)

Western Blot (WB) of anti-DZIP3 antibody

Western blot analysis of DZIP3 expression in HEK293T (A), A431 (B) whole cell lysates.
Rabbit Anti-DZIP3 Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS8242390

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-DZIP3 antibody

Immunohistochemical analysis of DZIP3 staining in human prostate cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-DZIP3 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for DZIP3

DZIP3: E3 Ubiquitin ligase proteins mediate ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin- conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. Able to specifically bind RNA. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: RNA-binding; Ubiquitin ligase; Ubiquitin conjugating system; EC 6.3.2.19; Ligase; EC 6.3.2.-

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3q13.13

Cellular Component: cytoplasm

Molecular Function: ligase activity; phosphatase binding; polyubiquitin binding; protein binding; RNA binding; ubiquitin-protein ligase activity; zinc ion binding

Biological Process: proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; protein polyubiquitination; protein ubiquitination during ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process
