Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-FUCA2 antibody

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with FUCA2 antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Western Blot (WB) of anti-FUCA2 antibody

Western blot analysis of FUCA2 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal FUCA2 Antibody (N-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the FUCA2 gene (Lane 2).

NCBI Summary for FUCA2

This gene encodes a plasma alpha-L-fucosidase, which represents 10-20% of the total cellular fucosidase activity. The protein is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 29 family, and catalyzes the hydrolysis of the alpha-1,6-linked fucose joined to the reducing-end N-acetylglucosamine of the carbohydrate moieties of glycoproteins. This enzyme is essential for Helicobacter pylori adhesion to human gastric cancer cells. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2010]
