Western Blot (WB) of anti-GRIN3B antibody

Western blot analysis of GRIN3B expression in A549 (A) whole cell lysates. (Predicted band size: 112 kD; Observed band size: 105 kD)
Rabbit Anti-GRIN3B Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS8322826

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-GRIN3B antibody

Immunohistochemical analysis of GRIN3B staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

NCBI Summary for GRIN3B

The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor. The encoded protein is found primarily in motor neurons, where it forms a heterotetramer with GRIN1 to create an excitatory glycine receptor. Variations in this gene have been proposed to be linked to schizophrenia. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2015]
