Application Notes for anti-RRAS antibody
IHC: 1:20-1:200

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-RRAS antibody

IHC image of MBS7134375 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human adrenal gland tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4 degree C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-RRAS antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for RRAS

The protein encoded by this gene is a small GTPase involved in diverse processes including angiogenesis, vascular homeostasis and regeneration, cell adhesion, and neuronal axon guidance. Mutations in this gene are found in many invasive cancers. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2015]

UniProt Comments for RRAS

RRas: a small G protein of the Ras family. Promotes focal adhesion formation by signaling to FAK and p130(Cas). Promotes tumor growth of cervical epithelial cells and increases their migration potential over collagen through a pathway that involves PI 3-K.
