Application Notes for anti-CDCA7 antibody
WB: 1:500-1:1000
IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500

Western Blot (WB) of anti-CDCA7 antibody

Western blot analysis of extracts from K562 cells, using CDCA7 antibody.
Rabbit Anti-CDCA7 Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS9605002

Immunofluorescene (IF) of anti-CDCA7 antibody

MBS9605002 staining Hela cells by IF/ICC. The sample were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25 degree C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1/200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37 degree C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) antibody, diluted at 1/600, was used as secondary antibody.
Rabbit Anti-CDCA7 Polyclonal Antibody, Immunofluorescene (IF) – Cat# MBS9605002

Western Blot (WB) of anti-CDCA7 antibody

Western blot analysis of extracts from Hela, using CDCA7 Ab. The lane on the left was treated with blocking peptide.
Rabbit Anti-CDCA7 Polyclonal Antibody, Western Blot (WB) – Cat# MBS9605002

Immunofluorescence (IF) of anti-CDCA7 antibody

MBS9605002 staining Hela by IF/ICC. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100,then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were then incubated with primary Ab(MBS9605002 1:200) and mouse anti-beta tubulin Ab(T0023 1:200) for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) Ab(Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) Ab(Green) were used as the secondary Ab.
The nuclear counter stain is DAPI(blue)

NCBI Summary for CDCA7

This gene was identified as a c-Myc responsive gene, and behaves as a direct c-Myc target gene. Overexpression of this gene is found to enhance the transformation of lymphoblastoid cells, and it complements a transformation-defective Myc Box II mutant, suggesting its involvement in c-Myc-mediated cell transformation. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

UniProt Comments for CDCA7

Participates in MYC-mediated cell transformation and apoptosis; induces anchorage-independent growth and clonogenicity in lymphoblastoid cells. Insufficient to induce tumorigenicity when overexpressed but contributes to MYC-mediated tumorigenesis. May play a role as transcriptional regulator.
