Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-MAST4 antibody
Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Wester Blot (WB) of anti-MAST4 antibody

Dilution: WB 1/500 - 1/1000
Western blot analysis of MAST4 expression in HeLa (A), HuvEc (B) whole cell lysates.
Rabbit Anti-MAST4 Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS9233328

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-MAST4 antibody

Dilution: IH 1/50 - 1/200
Immunohistochemical analysis of MAST4 staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
Rabbit Anti-MAST4 Polyclonal Antibody, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) – Cat# MBS9233328

Immunofluorescence (IF) of anti-MAST4 antibody

Dilution: IF: 1/50 - 1/200
Immunofluorescent analysis of MAST4 staining in HuvEc cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 degree C in a humidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-MAST4 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for MAST4

This gene encodes a member of the microtubule-associated serine/threonine protein kinases. The proteins in this family contain a domain that gives the kinase the ability to determine its own scaffold to control the effects of their kinase activities. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2014]
