Product Categories/Family for anti-Nck antibody

Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-Nck antibody
Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-Nck antibody
IP: 5ug immunprecipitates Nck from a lysate of human A431 carcinoma cells, mouse 3T3/A31 fibroblasts and rat L6 skeletal fibroblasts.
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
WB: 0.1-1ug/ml detected Nck in human A431 carcinoma cells. Previous lots detected Nck in mouse 3T3/A31 fibroblasts and rat L6 skeletal fibroblasts. Non-stimulated A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with.1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemilluminescence detection system.

Testing Data of anti-Nck antibody

Non-stimulated A431 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with N0550-05 (0.1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using goat anti-rabbit IgG conjugated to HRP and a chemilluminescence detection system.
Rabbit Anti-NCK Polyclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS6489483

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-Nck antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for Nck

The protein encoded by this gene is one of the signaling and transforming proteins containing Src homology 2 and 3 (SH2 and SH3) domains. It is located in the cytoplasm and is an adaptor protein involved in transducing signals from receptor tyrosine kinases to downstream signal recipients such as RAS. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]
